This project funded two childhood friends who financed themselves through a beautician course and certification training, but were unable to proceed further due to the high cost of products and equipment.  WONDERWorks recognised their initiative and realised the potential in establishing a training centre.  The Beauty Salon opened in May 2012 and they  have extended their training to restaurant workers, funded by Biswas Nepal.  Once qualified, WONDERWorks will consider offering grants to the girls to set up their own salons.

Two close friends who have completed their training as beauticians on a Biswas Nepal sponsored course, were finally able to achieve their dreams, when a Wonderworks grant enabled them to set up this beauty parlour in Boudha, Kathmandu.
