Bethany Evergreens sponsor three businesses

Our heartfelt thanks to the Bethany Evergreens and members of the Bethany Baptist Church Cardiff for their generous donation, which will sponsor three of our ladies into small businesses. Our thanks also go out to Helen Evans for her ongoing support of WONDERWorks and to all those involved in the co-ordination of events, including Viv Thomas, who explains below, how the funds were raised.
What an incredible effort! We think they’re all amazing!

”The Evergreens, all in their 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, worked really hard and were very generous to raise the magnificent sum of £550 for the WONDERworks charity. Pam Elias co-ordinated the events, with the help of Beth Toogood and Llinos Townley and of course the magnificent Evergreens who took this charity to heart.

We had a Bring and Buy, raffles, fun afternoon and Llinos made beautiful Christmas Table decorations which were sold at the Church’s annual Christmas Tree Festival plus a beautiful floral arrangement which was raffled.

We really wish the girls every success in their business ventures and will look forward to hearing how they are getting on.”
