Bimala joins the team!

We’d like to introduce Bimala Khatri who will join WONDERWorks on 1^st August 2014, as our Business Co-Ordinator.

With an increase in the number of small businesses we’ve set up over the past year and with more ambitious plans in the making, the need to have someone permanently based in Kathmandu was becoming more and more evident.  We were looking for someone empathetic, who understands women’s issues and with relevant experience.

We couldn’t believe our luck when Bimala, who has previous experience with both Change Nepal and Biswas Nepal, came along!  With her infectious enthusiasm and an eagerness to branch out and dedicate herself to this challenging full time role, Bimala was perfect!

Her first, and perhaps most difficult, challenge however, will be to  get her motorbike license, so that she can easily visit businesses, which are scattered all over Kathmandu. Good luck Bimala!
