Blood Pressure Machines For Remote Regions

WONDERWorks has undertaken to distribute blood pressure machines to remote medical centres across Nepal! The first four are already on the way through the kind efforts of Yadav Gurung who is Project Manager with the Himalayan Light Foundation www.hlf.org.np/  (and also a WONDERWorks Board Member). By the end of the year twenty centres will have the machines due to the thoughtful efforts of a team of nurses who were uncomfortable with the idea of the relatively new machines being thrown away, when their clinic upgraded to digital ones.  The machines are perfect for remote areas where electricity and batteries and scarce.
