Charity Coffee Morning

Those who came to the WONDERWorks fundraising coffee morning last Monday 26^th May, had a real treat in store. They were greeted with a fresh coffee or tea and a huge choice of home made cakes  (scones, Bakewell tarts, fruit cake, lemon drizzle cake, cherry & white chocolate cake, chocolate cake, carrot cake and individual cheese cakes, topped with fresh blueberries).  Some chose to sit outside in the sun and socialise before getting started, whilst others sipped away as they browsed our new Nepalese handicrafts to the rhythm of Himalayan folk music. By the end of the morning we were delighted to have raised sufficient funds to set up an entire business when we head back to Kathmandu in September. To Maxine and Sue who sacrificed their weekend to bake, to Zehn Bukit Pantai Management Committee for the complimentary venue and to everyone who came along to support us – an enormous thank you from WONDERWorks!
