Emma Reaches Her Target

CONGRATULATIONS EMMA!

Wow! Emma’s reached 101% of her target, raising HK$5,096 for WONDERWorks! She’s now closed her Simply Giving page and is no doubt enjoying a glass of wine again and a well-deserved rest. We’re sure it must taste all the better, knowing that the funds raised will immediately be used to help three vulnerable young women to make a big change to their lives.

Emma’s efforts have paid to put one lady through our six-month Basic and Advanced Tailoring course that started last week and for two others to take our three month Design Course, which will then qualify them to apply for a small tailoring business. Fabrics are very expensive in Nepal and well beyond the means of the students, especially the fabrics needed for the Design Course. The money she raised will also go towards the cost of their tutor.
