Four attend Business Workshop

Prior to setting up small businesses, applicants must firstly complete our Business Workshops. We currently have four candidates attending the workshops which take place one morning per week, over six weeks. We cover various aspects of running a business, including choosing a good location, assessing competition, budgeting and how to complete a ledger book. Week four involves visiting a successful business that WONDERWorks has previously helped to set up, giving applicants the opportunity to ask questions and learn from the experience of others. In the final two weeks business applicants prepare a proposal using the knowledge they’ve acquired, before presenting it to us for consideration.
