Four New Businesses

After much delay and disappointment, we’re so happy that four ladies from WONDERWorks finally received all the equipment they need to set up their home tailoring businesses today. Having worked their way through our Basic and Advanced Tailoring Course, our Design Course and then our Business Workshop, they had been ready to start up their businesses back in March 2020, when Nepal suddenly went into lockdown. Then, just as we emerged from the first wave of the pandemic and were getting ourselves back on track, the second wave started and once again Kathmandu was locked down for weeks. With a possible third wave looming, it’s a great relief that they can now put into practice all the new skills that they’ve worked so hard to achieve. These ladies deserve a medal for their patience and we wish them all the very best – they very much deserve it!
