Mehndi Design Training

As part of our Forward Steps Programme, WONDERWorks is always on the lookout for different ways to upskill our ladies and today we started our first Mehndi Design Training Course. The course will be held at the Support Centre from 11am to 1pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays over the next twelve weeks and participants are also required to put in several hours of training each week in their own time. The aim is for those who successfully complete the course to be able to earn extra income, especially during Teej or wedding seasons, when those with henna design skills are in demand at beauty parlours, venues or for home visits.
