New Businesses Up & Running

Five businesses WONDERWorks sponsored in September are now underway!!  After a number of hold ups due to the Dashain and Deepavali holidays, followed by all the strikes before the elections in November, we’re happy  (and relieved) that they are finally up and running.

We now have two more beauty parlours, two more tailor shops and a cosmetic/underwear store to add to our list of projects.  Unfortunately, the coffee shop we also sponsored is no longer going ahead for personal reasons, so those funds will now be put towards new projects in April 2014 .
