New Tailoring Students Begin Course
With the festival season over our Support Centre has swung back into full action again this week. On Wednesday the first session of the new tailoring course got underway, with ten new students learning how to operate a sewing machine. Once confident they had a go at making their first item – saucepan holders (using fabric left over from our dressing gowns). The ladies will attend the five to six month Basic and Advanced Tailoring course every weekday, from 10am to midday and each student is provided with their own stationary, plus a draft book for future reference. It’s a big commitment and we wish them all the best.
