Sanitary Pad Distribution In Khokna

Eighty children and staff at Peace Garden Secondary School received our sanitary kits on Friday. The school is located in Khokna, Lalitpur, an area that was badly damaged by the earthquake. The rebuild still has a long way to go and the Principal tells us that some of the girls don’t come to school during their period because they can’t afford disposable pads. Our thanks to Taylor’s International School Kuala Lumpur, whose fund raising efforts supported this distribution, in addition to the one we did in Gorkha last November. The smiles say it all.
