School Holiday Playgroup

It’s Constitution Day in Nepal today and with many schools being closed, we had a good turn out at our playgroup. It was a noisy, messy day with children of all ages happily playing along side each other. Barbie dolls and Action Men proved very popular in the beginning and then board games and drawing. After stopping for a snack Rejina brought out the big tray of coloured playdough she’d made, which kept both mothers and children busy for the rest of the day. At around 3pm we started to tidy up and then everyone enjoyed a plate of noodles, ensuring that, even though they were tired, nobody went home hungry.
