School Holiday Programme

It was pouring with rain all day and really cold, but that didn’t stop children from coming along to our school holiday programme last Friday. Even though they arrived at the Support Centre rather wet and bedraggled they were soon playing happily with play dough, colouring, doing puzzles and enjoying each other’s company. They stopped briefly for a snack of boiled eggs and Oreo biscuits, washed down with warm milk, and then went on to play some different games, such as Chinese Whispers and Musical Cushions. When the children started to get tired they gathered around the kitchen table for their favourite lunch – steamed Momos! Then, with warm tummies and mothers in tow, they started to make their way back home. Not a bad way to pass a cold, wet holiday.
