Self Defence For Women Workshop

This week we’re running a popular two part Self-Defence Workshop For Women at our Support Centre. Classes are kept small and rather than concentrating on self defence skills, the focus is on gaining the confidence to respond to unwelcome advances (such as on public transport), instinctive measures to deal with inappropriate and threatening behavior and how to apply these techniques to real life situations. The workshop, which is run every six months (and more often if required) is taught by Marc Davey, a 3rd Dan Senior Instructor, with the World Taekwondo Federation.
