Tailoring Graduates Celebrate

What better way for our tailoring students to start the Dasain holidays, than to graduate from our Basic and Advanced Tailoring course after six months of hard work and commitment.

Between lots of laughter, they proudly modelled the clothes they’ve made before receiving their well-deserved certificates. All being well, we’ll see them back again after the holidays in November, when they progress to our Design Course.

The day was rather bittersweet for our team however, as we also said goodbye to our tailoring tutor, Ms Suja Rana, who is moving on from WONDERWorks, having taught seven intakes of tailoring students, training over fifty ladies as tailors. We wish her all the very best and hope she’ll come back to visit us often. We’re pleased to announce that Ms Kumari Gurung, who currently teachers our afternoon remedial and design classes, will be teaching the new course that starts in November.
