To supplement her income from the restaurants and to learn a new skill, this lady (centre) had been an apprentice at a tailoring and training centre with two other women, earning about US$ .70 cents per completed item. When the owner decided to sell and return to her village, a grant from WONDERWorks enabled her to buy the business, keeping on the existing apprentices and agreeing to train Biswas Nepal ladies, who wish to learn tailoring.
