Ten new home tailoring businesses

Hard work has paid off for the ten determined ladies, who finally established their home tailoring businesses today, with support from WONDERWorks.  It was well earned, having completed all the training we have on offer, including Basic and Advanced Tailoring, Design, Sanitary Pad making Workshops and Cushion Making. They’ve also attended a Business Workshop over six weeks and some have even done short apprenticeships and external training to hone their skills and gain confidence. It’s been a long road but they’re more than ready and WONDERWorks will be regularly following up over the next eighteen months to ensure they achieve their long-term goals. We’ll miss them at the Support Centre but wish them all the success that they so deserve!
