Three brand new tailoring businesses

THREE BRAND NEW TAILORING BUSINESSES were in the making today as our excited ladies gathered together in the sewing machine shop to buy all of the equipment they’ll need.  The sewing machines and over-lockers were set into work tables, checked and given a final oiling, before being loaded into vans for delivery, along with boxes of thread, rulers, scissors, chalk and a steam iron.

The two Home Tailoring Businesses have cost US$250 each to set up and the Shuttered Tailoring Shop was US$470.  Each recipient has attended our tailoring courses to Basic and Advanced level and also completed a Business Workshop over six weeks in order to qualify.  They deserve every success with their new start in life and they know we’ll always be there to help with ongoing support and follow ups.
