Toddlers Enjoy Playgroup
It was time for another Mother and Toddler Playgroup at our Support Centre last Friday and fourteen children came along to spend the day with us. They arrived at 10am and immediately rushed off into the activity room to get started. Unfortunately we’d forgotten to let them know that we’ve changed our rooms around to make more space for Project Dignity and their excited voices turned into stunned silence, followed by cries of disappointment, as they realised that the toys were missing! Once shown into the new room we were soon forgiven and they settled down to play happily. This time the carom board seemed to get a lot of attention, followed by colouring – but it’s always the playdough which they spend most time with. They enjoyed some milk, eggs and biscuits for breakfast than then a big plate of noodles each for lunch at 2pm. Their mothers tried to get them to leave earlier but it was 3.30pm before they were able to finally persuade them to go. We think it fair to say that they enjoy their day.
